If you are a member, participate in our events, subscribe to our newsletter or visit the website, you are giving us your personal information. We are responsible for their protection and security. Please take time to be aware of the privacy, policy, and rights you have in connection with GDPR (Privacy Policy).

Who is the administrator?

We are a non-profit organization, Brno International Christian Fellowship, Inc. (IČ: 06243185) and operate the website www.bicf.cz. We process your personal data as an administrator, that is, we determine how personal data will be processed, for what purpose and for how long.

If you want to contact us at any time concerning the processing of your information, you can e-mail us at we-are@bicf.cz.

We declare that we, as the administrator of your personal data, comply with all legal obligations required by applicable laws, in particular the Privacy Act and the GDPR, and that we will process your personal data only on valid legal grounds, primarily in areas of your stated interest, with agreed and given consent.  We comply with the regulations under Article 13 of the GDPR before processing any of your personal data and we will support you in exercising and enforcing your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR.

Scope of personal data and processing purposes

We process personal data you entrust to us for the following reasons (for the fulfillment of these purposes): provision of services, performance of contract, keeping of accounts, sending of newsletters. We only send you newsletters with your consent. You can revoke this consent by using the unsubscribe link in each email you send.

We retain your personal information for the duration of the legal limitation period, unless the law provides for a longer period for its retention or we have not stated otherwise in specific cases.

Cookies

While browsing our web sites, we can record your IP address, how long you stay on the page, and which page you are coming from. Using cookies to track web site traffic and customizing our site views is perceived as being of legitimate management interest because we believe we can offer you even better services.

Web pages can also be browsed in a mode that does not allow the collection of personal data. You can disable the use of cookies on your computer.

Security and Privacy

We protect personal data to the fullest extent possible using modern technologies that keep to the current level of technical development.  We protect them as if they were our own.

Transmission of personal data to third parties

Our employees, members of the association and authorized external accountants may have access to your personal data.

Transmission of data outside the European Union

All processing of personal data will be carried out within the EU territory.

Your rights in connection with the protection of personal data

You have a number of rights in relation to the protection of your personal data. If you wish to use any of these rights, please contact us by e-mail: we-are@bicf.cz

You have the right to information that is already covered by this information page stating the privacy policy.

You can request from us at any time with the right of access, and we will provide proof within 30 days of any processing your personal data and why it was done in such a manner.

If anything changes or you find your personal information outdated or incomplete, you have the right to add and change your personal information.

You have the right to limit the processing if you think we are processing your data incorrectly, or you think we are processing it illegally, but you do not want to delete all the data, or if you have objected to the processing. You can limit the range of personal data or processing purposes. (For example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter it restricts the processing of data to send organizational messages.)

The right to portability

If you would like to take your personal information and transfer it to someone else, we will proceed as you would with the right of access – except that we will send you the information in machine-readable form within 30 days.

Right to be deleted (be forgotten)

Your next right is the right to delete (be forgotten). In this case, we will delete all your personal information from our system and from the system of all partial processors and backups. We need 20 days to ensure complete deletion.

In some cases, we are bound by a statutory obligation and, for example, we need to keep accounting documents issued after a period prescribed by law. In such case, we will delete all such personal data that is not bound by any other law. We will notify you by e-mail about the completion of the deletion.

Complaint at the Office for Personal Data Protection

If you feel that we do not comply with the law concerning your data, you have the right to appeal at any time to the Office for Personal Data Protection. We would be happy if you first tell us about this suspicion, so we can do something about it and correct any mistakes.

Unsubscribe from newsletters

We only send you the newsletter with your consent. You can cancel your subscription by pressing the unsubscribe link in each email you receive.

Secrecy

We would like to assure you that our employees, members of the association and co-workers who will process your personal data are required to maintain confidentiality about personal data and any security measures whose disclosure would compromise the security of your personal information. This confidentiality persists even after the end of your engagement with us. Without your consent, your personal data will not be released to any third party.

This Privacy Policy applies from 25 May 2018 and replaces the previous Privacy Policy.
